This page is only for the owner of this Echo.
Like in real life, with your Echo, you choose with who and what you share.
Give this to anyone you want to let in. Your owner key is the one to keep.
On: what one person says may be repeated to the next. Off: it comes back only to them.
The people close enough to hear the fuller version. Anything you file under Inner Circle below is for them and for you, and for nobody else who talks to your Echo.
Your Echo knows them by the name they type when they sit down, so put the name they will use. The email is so you know who you meant, and so you can send them the link. It is never asked for at the door.
$49.99 a month, 1,000 credits each time. Audio chat costs more than typing, because a real voice is made every time.
Checking…
If you become unable to manage this yourself, whether from illness, memory loss, or anything else, this Echo checks in with you now and then. If it stops hearing back, it reaches the person below with your note. Leave that blank and none of this runs.
Tell them this: if the monthly stops, the Echo pauses. On an account over a year old, nothing is deleted for 90 days.
Tell your legacy holder about the monthly cost now, before they are the one deciding whether to keep paying it.
The photograph your Echo appears as. The one it looks out of, not the photo memories further down.
Their face, looking at the camera.
Clone your voice or the voice of your loved one. (mp3). Recordings are not saved.
Thirty seconds to a minute of them talking the way they talk, one voice, somewhere quiet. Ordinary conversation beats reading aloud, and a longer sample of ordinary talking sounds more like them than a short careful one.
They get Meg's letter with a code in it. The letter is already written: it says who gave it, what they were given, what an Echo is, and how to start. The code covers the whole build, the voice and anything made, and the term is already served, so there is nothing for them to pay.
Tell them it is coming. A first letter from an address somebody has never had mail from often lands in spam, and one word from you beforehand is what gets it read.
The same code goes out again, in the current letter. It is refused if it has already been used.
Leave this blank and it goes to whoever the invitation was made out to.
A link that opens one Echo's floor and nothing else's. Send it to the person whose Echo it is. It is made the first time you ask and it does not change, so the same link keeps working.
Pick one from the list, or type it if you know it.
Being on the demo floor means no monthly, and anybody who wants to can sit down and meet them. It is not automatic: you ask, and Dr. Oroszi is selective about who gets a seat there. Tell her why yours should be one of them.
Everyone here can do everything you can, including adding and removing each other. They each get their own link, so a key can be taken back from one person without taking it back from everybody.
Everyone who's talked to this Echo or contributed a memory. Only you can see this list, it's never shown to the people in it.
Everything contributed through conversation or the memory mailbox. Private ones only ever resurface for the person they're scoped to; network ones surface for anyone.
Tied to a moment, so the Echo can bring it up and show it mid-conversation.
Real photos tied to a moment, the Echo can bring these up and show them mid-conversation. Add them here.
Adding brand-new facts about YOUR OWN persona (how you talk, your history, your traits) still happens by talking to us for now. This page is for memories, network members contribute, and photo moments, not for rewriting who the Echo fundamentally is.
