What you are agreeing to
Public facing, and ours to take down.
Your Echo stands on the demo floor of the lobby. That means it is public facing: anybody who comes to the site can see it, open it and talk to it, with no code and without asking you or us first. Strangers, and as many of them as arrive.
M.E. can take it off the wall at any time, for any reason, without asking you. That is not a threat and it is not expected to happen often; it is simply ours to decide, the same as choosing who goes up there in the first place.
You can ask for it to come down at any time too, and it will, and you do not have to give a reason.
If it comes off the wall, your Echo is not deleted. That day becomes your Echo's birthday. As a thank you for being on the demo wall we are gifting you a free month, so your first $49.99 payment will not be due until the next month. If it comes off the wall on 9 July, the first payment is 9 August, then 9 September, and the 9th from then on. If your account is more than a year old you can pause for 90 days to decide what to do next, but you are unable to use your Echo during those 90 days.
What it costs
Nothing, while it is up there.
An Echo on the demo floor pays no monthly. That is the whole trade: it is public, and it is doing the job a page of marketing would otherwise be doing.
What stays yours
Your circle, your voice, your say.
Being a demo does not make everything in it public. It is one Echo, not two. Your inner circle still works exactly as it does on any other: the people you name see what you have shared with them, and a stranger sitting down never does.
Your voice stays yours. It is a biometric, it was cloned with your consent, and that consent is recorded beside it. Withdraw it and the voice stops being used.
Nothing anybody says to your Echo is sold, and nothing you have not shared is shown.
Who decides
You ask. Dr. Oroszi answers.
The demo floor is not something you can switch on. You ask for it and say why, and Dr. Terry Oroszi says yes or no herself. What she is deciding on is what would make yours worth sitting with.
If you have questions about any of this before you agree, reply to any email M.E. has sent you. That reaches a person.
