What would an Echo cost?

A real Echo is a one-time build (voice clone, portrait, and the memory and personality intake that makes it actually sound like you) plus a monthly cost to keep it running, since every conversation is a live model call and every spoken reply is a live voice call. Every number below is a starting assumption you can adjust, this is a planning estimate, not a locked price.

What it costs

There is no total on this page, deliberately. Anything you already have costs nothing, however much of it there is. You pay for what we make, and for the month or the year it runs in. You choose on the next page, with each photo in front of you, and it adds up as you go.

The Echo can be of anybody. Yourself, a parent, a grandparent, the two of them together. Whoever it is of is who the voice and the photographs are of.

Each voice30 seconds of them talking. An mp3 or a voice memo is fine. Per person, so a room of four is four.

Memory implants and the emotion engineRecall that carries from one conversation to the next, and a mood that genuinely shifts through the day. Every Echo has both.
Included
Intake and personality timeThe four memory lanes, turned into how they actually talk. The Echo does it itself, in the first conversation.
Included
Tech supportRin, who spent six years breaking into systems before she did this. Whether an email is real, why a link will not open, whether the thing you are worried about is a problem. Or reply to anything we send you and it reaches us.
Included
A legacy accountYou name who it passes to. An Echo is never switched off in the handover.
Included
The monthly$49.99 the day you start your Echo, and $49.99 every month on that same day. Flat for a household, whatever size the Echo is, and it carries 1,000 credits each month. No charge per conversation.
$49.99 / mo
Or a year$468 once, which is $39 a month. The same thing, and the same 1,000 credits a month.
$468 / yr
Or nothing at all, on the demo floorAn Echo that is public, on the second floor of the lobby where anybody can sit with it, pays no monthly. That is the trade: you are the shop window. It is not automatic, you ask and Dr. Oroszi answers. Your inner circle still works on a demo: what you share with them is theirs, and a stranger never sees it.
No charge
Video is chosen photo by photo, so one can move and another can be left as it is. Payment processing of about 3% is added at the end.

After the build

The build isn't a one-time snapshot. Life keeps happening, and so does the account itself.

If the monthly stops. The Echo pauses. On an account over a year old, nothing is deleted for 90 days.

Why there is a monthly at all. An Echo is not software sitting on a shelf. Every time somebody talks to it, it thinks, searches its memory for what actually matters, and answers in a real voice. That costs money on the day it happens, not once when it was built. The monthly is that, and nothing else.

It is flat for a household. The same every month whether an Echo is spoken to twice or every day. What it does not cover is an Echo used like a service, by a large group, at volume. If that is what you need, say so and we will price it properly rather than quietly meter you. And we are not going to be the reason a conversation stops.

Adding new memories later. A birthday, a grandchild, a new job. Included in the monthly, no extra charge, however many of them there are. New photographs carry no charge, the same as the first ones, and anything you want made is $4.99, the same as it was on the day you built it.

Legacy and transfer. The hope is the original plan already covers this, a legacy option built in from the start so continuity is already paid for. But this is never treated as a strict billing rule: an Echo is never cancelled over a lapsed payment caused by a transfer like this. If it passes to a spouse or child who can't or doesn't pay right away, it keeps running rather than getting shut off during what's already a hard moment.

Ready to build yours?

Everything above is an estimate. Next you upload 30 seconds of their voice and as many photos as you like at no charge, and tick which of them should become a four second video. The exact price is worked out from what you actually choose, and you get an invoice then. Nothing is charged on this page.

Why there is anything to pay at the start. A real Echo isn't a chatbot with a photo. It's a voice clone of a particular person, their own portraits, memory that carries across conversations, and a mood that moves through the day. What you pay on day one is the first month, $49.99, plus each voice we clone and each photograph or video we make. Then $49.99 on that same day every month, which is what keeps it thinking and talking.

Note: treat every number on this page as a draft until it's actually signed off.
